Agreement
These terms apply to everyone who uses Medecole. By creating an account you accept them. If you are using the platform on behalf of an institution, you confirm you may accept them on its behalf.
Your account
One account belongs to one person. Keep your password to yourself: anything done through your account is treated as done by you. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access to it. We may suspend an account we find is being shared, sold, or used by more than one person.
Free trials
Each feature offers its free trial once per account. A trial gives full access for its stated length, asks for no card, and simply ends — it does not roll into a paid plan, and nothing is charged when it stops.
Plans and payment
A plan is bought for a fixed length: you place an order in the app, pay by bKash or Nagad, and the plan activates once we confirm the payment. Plans do not renew by themselves and nothing is taken from you automatically; when one ends, you choose whether to buy another. Buying while a plan or trial is still running extends your access from its current expiry rather than replacing it.
Prices
Prices are shown in Bangladeshi Taka and include any applicable tax. We may change prices, but a change never affects a plan you have already paid for. Coupons are applied at checkout, may be withdrawn at any time, and cannot be applied to an order already placed.
Refunds
An order you have placed but not yet paid for can be cancelled in the app at no cost. Once a plan has been confirmed and activated it is generally not refundable, because access to the full question bank begins immediately. If something on our side stopped you using what you paid for, write to us and we will put it right — by extending your access or by refunding it.
Using the content
The questions, explanations, clinical cases, and study material are ours or our contributors', and your plan is a personal licence to study with them. You may not copy, record, republish, share, or sell them, and you may not use automated tools to extract them in bulk. Accounts found doing so are closed without a refund.
Discussions
You are responsible for what you post in question discussions. Keep it civil and relevant, do not post patient-identifiable information, and do not reproduce material from other sources. We may remove a comment or withdraw discussion access where this is not followed.
Educational use only
Medecole is exam preparation, not clinical guidance. Nothing here is advice for treating a patient, and it is not a substitute for current guidelines, your training, or your own clinical judgement. We work to keep the material accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is free of error, nor that using it will produce any particular examination result.
Availability
We aim to keep the platform running continuously, but it may be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. Where an outage meaningfully shortens a paid plan, tell us and we will extend it.
Ending your access
You may close your account whenever you wish. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that is used to redistribute our content, or that is used unlawfully. If we close an account for no fault of yours, we refund the unused part of any plan.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Beyond that, our liability to you for any claim relating to the platform is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before it arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including examination outcomes.
Changes and governing law
We may revise these terms; the date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the platform after a change means accepting it. These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Dhaka have jurisdiction over any dispute.
